Past News

2010
Click here for the 2010 fall update.   Good news received after going to print brought much rejoicing. Our December 2010  our graduating class of forty girls  performed extremely well on the national examinations with all students receiving 1st grade honors.  The school was ranked as 4th in the country!. The percentage of our girls continuing on to high school is 100% in contrast to the low national average for village girls.  This is an amazing accomplishment for a  school only begun in 2003.
Though the plan for the essential school buildings and infrastructure is not yet realized the school  carries on well.  When we are able to gather additional funding support we plan to complete the staff housing units and solidify the financial aid program which will assure that a good portion of the students orphaned by AIDS or from economically poor east African families will have the benefit of a loving and effective education.
If you feel drawn to help us complete the school buildings or assist us in establishing a sustainable future through our Financial Aid Program for the students  you may contact Sr. Cullen who will be happy to provide with the banking information.
