the Sacred Heart family, to get acquainted with each other, to
share ideas, opinions, work and above all to work together as
link, network.
BI-CI-CA (CATHOLIC CIRCULATING LIBRARY)
Mon, Wed. & Fri from
4 to 6 p.m., Tue &Thurs. from 10 to 12 a.m. We have new books,
best-sellers.
TROUVAILLE (SECOND
HAND CLOTHES SHOP)
We receive clothes to sell. Mon to Fri from 3 to 6 p.m.
and Sat from 10 to 12 a.m.
CLOTHES
MENDING WORKSHOP
When necessary,
we mend the clothes donated before sending them to poor neighbourhoods.
ORNAMENT WORKSHOP (FOR POOR CHURCHES)
This year we have made 32 chasubles, and 17 stoles in
different colours, 5 albs, 17 corporals, 14 purificators, and
20 rosaries.
CLOTHES WORKSHOP USING SCRAPS OF CLOTH
We receive donations of scraps of cloth and one of our alumnae
makes clothes to be distributed. This year we made 5 jumpers,
16 summer and winter skirts, 8 skirt and blouse sets, 4 dresses
and 6 baby clothes.

"MATER'S HOUSE', FOR THE
ELDERLY
Currently 9 ladies
who can still look after themselves live there. It is a
very pleasant place to live in. They are given the four
meals. |

DINNING
ROOM AND FIRST AID ROOM "LOS BLANCOS' (in the Province of Salta) |
| We give daily support to the dinning room "Lewetes
BelŽn', where thirty-two old aborigines eat their meals and
10 native old people receive a bag of food. Moreover, of the
300 kids attending the school we help with the food of 20
of them suffering malnutrition. 7 kids have already improved
their condition. |

Thanks to the donation of Fundaci—n Maissa and Dr.
Mar’a Julia Bernal we have supplied the first aid room consisting
of four beds and 2 cradles and lacking essential things, with
complete hospital equipment, medical gauzes, cotton, disposable
syringes, tensiometer, aerochamber, catheters and 120 dozen diapers
as well as donations of clothes, blankets, household goods, plates,
glasses, cutlery, baby bottles, towels, kids and adults' clothes,
rosaries and Christmas presents for the elderly.
CARITAS ESQUEL
We help an alumna who works there by sending her boxes of clothes, shoes
and coats.
"LET'S WRAP ARGENTINA UP
IN WARM CLOTHES WITH LOVE'
By purchasing wool from a bankrupt company, this year
we have knitted 25 blankets made of woolen squares, 107 Sweaters,
55 collars-caps, 23 scarves, 36 baby caps and 7 vests which were
sent to Monte Caseros in the province of Corrientes, Caritas Esquel,
Allen, and Castelar. Thanks a lot to all those who have knitted!
We have also donated wool to the nuns of Sacred Heart who work
with women knitters in La Rioja. We have also sent them an image
of Mater Admirabilis who is worshipped as the "Spinner Virgin'.
SCHOOL "PADRE ADOLFO FERNANDEZ' IN NEUQUEN
It is directed
by an alumna. We
have sent her: office equipment, fans, book shelves, etc.

CASA
CUNA ( Children's Hospital) (we work as volunteers
in rooms 7 and 8, infectuous diseases) |
We have sent them: clothes made in the clothes workshop
using scraps of cloth, trousers, skirts, dresses, bibs.
Donations, bags, clothes for adults, sneakers, diapers,
10 rattles and teething rattles and 45 toys. 70 glass carriers
with sweets were prepared as presents for kid's day. |

SAN JOSE HOME (Castelar)

CARITAS ALLEN
We have sent to an alumna working there three
boxes with 5 blankets made of woolen squares, kids and adults'
clothes and shoes.
Our help is focused in food and clothes we
knit or sew. We have sent 50 sweaters and 200 kilos of donated
food.
SPECIAL
EDUCATION SCHOOL SAN FRANCISCO No. 5549
Recently we have started
helping this school whose legal representative is a Sacred Heart
nun. We have focused our help in study materials and food. We
have sent them presents for kids' day and scarves. Next year we
will send them meat to help them feed the kids daily.

SCHOOL No. 347 "3 DE ABRIL' MONTE CASEROS PROVINCE OF CORRIENTES
We support a school for 160 poor children. We have sent
them 11 boxes with different kinds of clothes, shoes, 160
pairs of socks, 160 pencil holders with different writing
elements, toys, etc. Our first concern was to support their
primary needs such as clothes, socks and shoes, school material,
etc. Everything sent was a result of donations from companies
and private people to whom we requested them. We would like
to help them with all our hearts. |

SAN JOSE OBRERO PARISH (Chascomœs)
Our
goal is to help them complete the chapel they are building
and to continue supplying them food for the dinning room.
We have already sent them 500 kilos of donated food and
construction materials for the chapel. |
